AMSTERDAM/TAIZ, YEMEN—Airstrikes carried out yesterday by the Saudi-led coalition hit a clinic in southern Yemen run by the international medical humanitarian organization Doctors Without Borders/Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) and wounded nine people, including two MSF staff members. According to local sources, at 11:20 a.m. local time on December 2, three airstrikes targeted a park in Taiz city's Al Houban district, about two kilometers from MSF's tented clinic. The MSF team immediately evacuated the Al Houban clinic and informed the Saudi-led coalition that their jet planes were mounting an attack nearby. The clinic itself then came under attack.

MSF was forced to suspend medical activities and evacuate its team from Leer, South Sudan due to looting on October 2nd & 3rd.

Updated: Oct 5th 9.30 AM EST: Latest update is that twelve staff members and ten patients, including three children, were killed; 37 people were injured including 19 staff members, during the bombing of MSF’s hospital in Kunduz , Afghanistan. The international medical organization Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) condemns in the strongest possible terms the horrific aerial bombing of its hospital in Kunduz.

Two aid workers from Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF), including a community health worker, were killed during attacks around Leer, a conflict area in Unity State, South Sudan. MSF was forced to evacuate all international staff from its hospital in Leer in May as fighting in Unity state intensified.

At least 11 people have been killed and 67 injured since 21 April during constant airstrikes and shelling in Haradh district, northwestern Yemen, said the international medical humanitarian organisation Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) today.
