According to Doctors Without Borders (Médecins Sans Frontières or MSF), there have been three attacks in a three-month span on their facilities in Yemen. An October 27th airstrike by the Saudi-led coalition destroyed Haydan hospital. Then, on December 2nd, a Saudi-led strike hit a health facility in Taiz. This past Sunday, January 10th, a Saudi-led coalition projectile hit the MSF-supported Shiara Hospital in Razeh. Combined, these incidents have resulted in significant death, injury, and destruction.

In the early hours of 3 October, rockets slammed into a Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) hospital in Kunduz, Afghanistan, killing at least 14 health workers and injuring 37. An MSF clinic in the southern Yemen city of Taiz was bombed on 2 December, injuring 9 people, including 2 MSF staff. Since 2012, almost 60% of hospitals in Syria have been partially or completely destroyed, and more than half of the country’s health workers have fled or been killed.

In Yemen, bombs slammed into a tented clinic where Doctors Without Borders was treating people displaced by war in the city of Taiz, wounding nine people, including two clinic staff. The main hospital in the city was hit by rockets in November.
